This watch is explosive! C3H5N3O9 , or nitroglycerin as it would be known in lay terms, is an “experimental” watch brand, and its first product is called ZR012. In a zirconium case showing off the Wankel-inspired movement to advantage, it is not hard to see that this limited edition of 12 pieces is the result of a joint effort between Urwerk and MB&F. Learn more about it in this video with watch journalist Elizabeth Doerr.

Urwerk unveils the Knight, a.k.a. the UR – 105M

  • The futuristic brand made a jump back in the Middle Age to invent the Knight, its last creation. Classical and smooth, the Knight, also known as the UR 105-M, has a domed sapphire glass, a aestetic protection on its rotative carrousel and a visual distinctive signature: a large bezel. It integrates in particular visible fixing points evoking the nails of the knights shields. Designed as a contemporary symbol of courage and endeavor, the Knight is available in two versions – gray or black Altin coated bezel – for an average price of 70’000 USD.
