The finishing stages of a leather strap explained to you by the team of the only Hermès leather workshop outside of France. This one is in Brugg, next to Bienne, Switzerland.

After a ten year void period, the geneva watchmaking museum finally put together a fantastic exhibition of some of its many treasures. Before traveling internationally, this exhibition can be seen at the Geneva Musée Rath until the 29th of April of this year.

La Montre Hermès has just shown us a really interesting timepiece, one that embodies the historical skills of the House and its new watchmaking capabilities with their very own movement, the H1837. The idea of “In the pocket”" is based on a model originally developed for an Hermès family member  in 1912 and gives you 3 possibilities of wearing it: as a pocket watch, a necklace or as a wrist watch where your wrist will be fully and comfortably surrounded with Hermès leather. The downside? Well, it’s a limited edition for only 24 happy customers around this planet. The upside? We really loved it!

In 1977, Vincent Calabrese invented an incredible movement that thanks to Corum and the vision of René Bannwart would become a few years later the iconic Golden Bridge. More than 30 years after the birth of this watch in 1981, Corum’s CEO Antonio Calce  has pushed for the brand and Mr Calabrese to collaborate again. The goal is to not only to tell the story behind this incredible adventure, but also in exchanging new ideas with the current team of Laurent Besse and who knows what could come out!
