After a successful partnership with the music world and the Montreux Jazz Festival, Parmigiani Fleurier has now decided to be present in the world of cinema by becoming partner of the famous Swiss Locarno Film Festival. This excellent project shares open source thinking into the watchmaking world: transmission of traditional skills, tools and techniques. We asked Michel Boulenger, the lucky student of these illustrious watchmakers, in what phase of the project he’s in and how were things going along as he’s moving from the design phase to enter the actual manufacturing phase. For the opening of the new boutique, all the beautiful Zurich society gathered on the Banhofstrasse for the inauguration night. Loïck Peyron, world class sailor and Corum’s ambassador, talks to us about his relation to time and what to expect in terms of a new regatta watch development with Corum. Interview with Aurel Bacs, International Co-Head of Christie’s watch department, days before the Geneva auction to be held on Monday the 14th of May. Mr Bacs gives us some insights on this sale and points out several lots that we will soon follow among them a special white gold minute repeater wristwatch by Vacheron Constantin built in 1961.
