AUTOMATES & MERVEILLES, THE LEGACY OF JAQUET DROZ
Interview with Marc A. Hayek who talks to us about the magic of automatas, the incredible inventiveness of their creator since 2 centuries and the substance behind. This exhibition is held on 3 sites in the heart of swiss watchmaking territory (Neuchâtel, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Le Locle) and it will be held until the 30th of September 2012.

For the current floral themed exhibition of Vacheron Constantin’s private collection in Geneva, TheWATCHES.tv has interviewed Jérôme Meier, expert watchmaker at Vacheron Constantin. He gives us further insight into the 50 timepieces ranging from 1780 through the 1930′s displayed until December 2012. While a great watch exhibition is taking place in Geneva until April this year (special report to come on TheWATCHES.tv), the various museums unifying their collections took some of their incredible timepieces and showed them during this year’s SIHH. For the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Marcus boutique on New Bond Street, brands were happy to present to Marcus Margulies, fabulous watch connoisseur, some incredible limited editions: the full Greubel Forsey collection in black platinum cases to name one!!!! Massimo Macaluso talks to us about the new products of the brand and its involvement with the Big Life Foundation of photographer Nick Brandt.
