We have been talking about it since a little bit of time and had difficulties hiding our excitement, but we are finally only a few weeks from publishing the first episode of TheWATCHES.tv Watchmaking Roadtrip. But before this starts, let us give you a quick idea with this trailer of the incredible experience we had with six great guys coming from all over the world. Not only did we share a great moment together, but obviously our goal was to share this with all of you, our fantastic audience!

This new series will bring a behind-the-scene approach to watchmaking that nobody is used to see, apart some lucky and privileged collectors, and focus on the people that makes this great industry what it is. Starting in September, we will air one weekly episode through to the Christmas season and you are going to in for quite some surprises and happy moments!

Are you going to show us the place where they really make the Tubor "in-house" movements?

I don't know what the criteria was for selection of the 6 winning candidates, so maybe speaking out of turn, but surely there were female entries ? Might be the continued notion that watches & anything watch-making are the machismo preserve of men. I know a few women who know more about the industry , watch-making, etc , than many a guy who thinks he does lol ! A lady friend of a friend owns a Cartier Tank, Rolex Datejust, JLC Reverso, Breitling & a Patek Calatrava amongst her collection & can hold her own in conversation with men on watches. If it wasn't for women buying Cartier, Piaget, Patek, Rolex etc etc, many of these brands would rue the income. Yes, women may tend to buy watches that have a high 'jewellery' factor, but nowadays the modern Miss owns sporty models too , reflecting her lifestyle..........It wouldn't have hurt to buck the trend & include a woman in the final 6 selection........or was it the separate accommodation & toiletry arrangements that precluded this ha ha. I've read that women historically have better assembly skills than men, more apt then re mechanical watches ? The video shows women in the the watch houses, but maybe sexism in the market place still lives on methinks lol !

Ha ha , looks like one of the criteria for being chosen was the calibre of watch worn by each contender lol ! I don't think me wearing one of my vintage Timex Electric pieces from my collection would have ' cut the mustard'. I'd have been happy though knowing it kept better time after 50 years than any Rolex, Zenith, Patek......any Swiss at any price..... 1 second a day !

I am surprised that a channel with such well made content has such low views. I know other channels that are largely in complete but get more views...an oddity for sure. I look fwd to this new series and really enjoy your channel!

Looks promising, I wish you had some ladies in the mix as well instead of all men. But it's still very unique and interesting, can't wait to watch this in Sept. Thanks
