Me, Myself & My Watches : Marc André Deschoux

Tags: Antoine Preziuso, Blancpain, Breitling, Girard-Perregaux, Marc André Deschoux, MB&F, Swatch

In this new series of content, we will discover the portrait of watch collectors; how they came into watches, what makes them tick and show us the very own collection.

For this first episode and after quite some insisting demands, I've decided to show the watches that I possess and what I like about them.

If you want to share with us your own passion for watches, don't hesitate to contact us and we'll see how we can make this happen. And most importantly, you don't have to have 25 old Pateks to be part of it, passion is more important!!

Marc, thanks for letting us get to know you better, and for sharing a very interesting and eclectic watch collection. I’m glad that you started watches.tv in order to make videos that weren’t boring. I doubt even your detractors have ever called you boring! You’re enthusiasm is very inspiring. Though my collection is very humble compared to yours, it’s also eclectic and I enjoy having them and looking for yet another. And if I ever get to Mexico again, I’m gonna look for a character like that bizzarre sculpture on your coffee table. I love it! Please keep making these great videos.👍

Parmigiani Tonda 1950s is one of the most beautiful dress watches you can get in my opinion.

Marc, I always wondered what kind of watch you wear. I figured since you promote and film (easily considered as Advertising) many talented manufacturers that you must be wearing some pretty fancy (and probably expensive) watches. And while I don't expect anyone to just give up and $100,000 watch or even a $10,000 watch, I don't think it would be unreasonable for any of these manufacturers to part with a watch valued between $500 - $5,000 for the detailed exposure you give them. Especially when you consider the Cost/Value of doing Advertising (in all its formats). You are giving them are really good deal. So if any of you manufacturers out there are listening, please consider donating a nice watch to Marc. And if you think he already has enough watches, "I" could certainly use one ! And I can't afford even the cheapest of watches. The last (and only my 2nd watch ever) watch I bought was $75 at a duty-free shop on a Caribbean Cruise during the early 1990's. It quite working a long time ago. So if Marc already has enough watches, please consider sending one my way ! hint hint !

I wasn't expecting to see anything about where I'm from in this video, but that pitot tube was from Minnesota, USA, which is where I'm from! That was too cool for me after being a long time fan.

Loved your story. You tube presenters are movie stars, but much less public personal knowledge.I thought your story like your watch videos has a lot of information in an easily followable condensed story.Your story was great but I am not sure what your current occupation is which I think is quite appropriate for that to be anonymous.Really loved the Breitling story that they don't make pilots watches.Very interesting eclectic collection. The most important thing is that you like. It seems to go along with your personality. In my collection I have watches from Timex Electric ( not quartz)to Perpetual calenders
